Late Friday night in Jackson Heights, a 16-year-old boy was stabbed in the back inside Travers Park, sending police into a search for two other teens and rattling a neighborhood that treats the park as a shared backyard.
What Happened
According to ABC7 New York, the stabbing happened just after 10 p.m. following a dispute between the victim and two other youths inside Travers Park near Northern Boulevard. Police said the 16-year-old was taken to a hospital, where he was listed in stable condition. No arrests had been made, and the two suspects remained at large.
