New York state officials have extended an Air Quality Health Advisory for ozone for the New York City metropolitan region through Tuesday.
The advisory, issued by the state Department of Environmental Conservation and Department of Health, is in effect from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. It follows a previously announced advisory for June 29.
