NEW YORK, N.Y. (PIX11) — Tri-state residents got to enjoy a rain-free Saturday after dealing with a number of showers and storms earlier in the week. The umbrellas could see some work late Sunday, however, as another front approaches the area.
Look for clouds to build Saturday night ahead of a low-pressure system. Conditions will remain quite warm due to southerly winds, and an increase in humidity is likely as well. Temperatures will drop into the low and mid 70s in most areas, with 60s north and west of the city.
A further increase in cloud cover is forecasted on Sunday as the aforementioned low-pressure system continues to crawl towards us. The morning hours should remain dry, but a shower or thunderstorm could form in a few locations during the afternoon and evening. Highs will be in the low to mid 80s…
