STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The FDNY responded to a car crash on the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge early Sunday morning.
The fire department first received a call of a crash on the upper level of the bridge, on the ramp to the Belt Parkway, around 2 a.m., according to a spokesperson for the FDNY.
