The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Maykoll Lanuza-Morales, a 41-year-old man who allegedly stabbed a South Ozone Park man to death in his former girlfriend’s Richmond Hill apartment during the early morning hours of Sunday, April 12.
Police from the 102nd Precinct in Richmond Hill responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress at 101-11 86th Ave. just before 2:30 a.m. and found a 32-year-old woman with a slash wound to her right arm and a 41-year-old man who had been stabbed in the chest. EMS rushed both victims to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where the male was pronounced dead a short while later and the female victim was listed in stable condition.
