Lancaster man sentenced for hate crime charges after road rage incident

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Lancaster man was sentenced to three years of probation Thursday for hate crime charges in connection with a road rage incident, the Erie County District Attorney’s Office announced.

Officials said in May 2025, 35-year-old Justin R. Goodrich engaged in a road rage incident in Cheektowaga, allegedly yelling racial slurs and profanity to the victim while both their cars were stopped at the intersection of Union Road and George Urban Boulevard.
