BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — In a moment he has been working toward for years, WNY native Christopher “CJ” Wild will be ordained a priest for the Diocese of Buffalo on June 6, preparing to serve the community that he says shaped his calling.
Wild says that although he didn’t always know he wanted to become a priest, the idea never left his mind.
“[I was] sitting just quietly before The Lord in prayer … and I remember, just so clearly, but so quietly and kind of in the depths or the silence of my heart, hearing Jesus say, ‘I want you to be a priest,’” Wild said. “There was a great sense of peace that came about with that.”…
