BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A 65-year-old woman died in a fire at a house on Ellis Road in Orchard Park on Friday.
Crews responded to the home around 11 a.m., where heavy smoke was seen coming from all sides of the building. Dispatchers received reports of the sounds of explosions. Officials said the front of the house was fully engulfed in flames.
Officials immediately evacuated nearby homes and attempted to determine if there were any occupants still inside. Crews brought the fire under control and found the woman dead inside the home…
