BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo city employee was named Buffalo Public Schools’ new executive athletic director on Monday, the district said.
Ka’Ron Barnes, who is currently the city’s deputy commissioner of assessment and taxation, was named as the district’s new executive athletic director.
Aubrey Lloyd, who has served as the director of athletics starting in 2010 before going on leave from 2019 until 2022 and then returned, will stay on in his current role. Michael House, who served as assistant superintendent of athletics, was placed on leave in late 2023 and has not returned. He is not listed on the district’s website…
