BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Two children from Allegany County who were allegedly taken by their non-custodial parent were found living in a shed in Georgia by U.S. Marshals, New York State Police said Wednesday.
Nicole A. Koschuk, 42, and her children, Amara Koschuk, 6, and Lincoln Koschuk, 4, were found by U.S. Marshals in Trenton, Ga. Nicole Koschuk was arrested on the charge of first-degree custodial interference and was turned over to the Dade County Sheriff’s Office and is awaiting extradition to New York.
The children were found in good health, officials said, and have been turned over to the Dade County Department of Family and Children’s Services until they can be returned to their legal guardian. The case is under investigation.
