BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — New York Attorney General Letitia James is suing a local veterans charity, Healing for Heroes, after an investigation revealed misuse of funds.
The organization is promoted as an outdoor retreat for disabled veterans. The Attorney General’s Office said the charity has only hosted four retreats — all of them serving board members and their families.
