BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man is facing several charges after suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the leg, according to police.
Buffalo Police said 36-year-old Angelo Ruffino arrived at Kenmore Mercy Hospital in a private car on Wednesday night, suffering from the wound. He claimed a shooting happened near Hertel Avenue and Military Road.
An investigation found that the wound was self-inflicted, and officers obtained a search warrant for Ruffino’s home and car on Sunset Street.
