BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Grocery chain Price Rite and its partner, Feed the Children, teamed up with local nonprofit Buffalo Dream Center on Thursday to help Western New York families.
The organizations donated over 400 care packages to local families, including 25 pounds of food, 15 pounds of personal care items, a backpack filled with school supplies and more.
“If you were just to go down the line and talk to people, there are a lot of concerns and things in their lives besides their need for food, but meeting that simple need of giving somebody food today makes a lot of difference in the lives of people,” Pastor Eric Johns with the Buffalo Dream Center said…
