A Western NY driver killed a woman in a crosswalk. He now faces prison

A Buffalo man admitted in court Monday to striking and killing a pedestrian while driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs last December.

James E. Clarke, 32, pleaded guilty to three counts of second-degree vehicular manslaughter before State Supreme Court Justice Debra L. Givens. The plea resolves charges stemming from the death of Wendy Jasper, 45.
