Costco Opening In Amherst, New York
It has been a long time since it was first announced that Costco would be opening up in Amherst, and now it is open, at least part of it.
As of Friday, September 4th, the gas pumps at the Costco on Ridge Lee Road in Amherst are open for business. The rest of the store, not so much.
According to WIVB, the bulk retailer will open its store on October 28th. This will be the first Costco to open in Western New York. A second location is set to open sometime in 2027; that location will be in the old Seneca Mall location in West Seneca.

While we were waiting a long time for the Costco to open in Western New York, it was worth it, as many people in the area had been wanting one for a long time…
