POLICE AUDIO CAN BE FOUND AT THE END OF THIS ARTICLE: Law enforcement received a call around 8:42pm on September 4th after reports of an armed carjacking in the area of Grider Street and Northland Avenue in Buffalo.
911 callers advised police of shots fired. Dispatch was then notified that a male was struck with gunfire in the back during an attempted theft of his vehicle. There was a crowd of over 100 people at the scene.
Several units responded to the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. His condition is unknown. No information whether a suspect was identified and arrested. No further information is available at this time…
