Industrial equipment supplier pays $3.8M for new Elma headquarters

ERIE COUNTY, N.Y. — An industrial equipment supplier will be moving its local operations from Cheektowaga to Elma after buying the former General Welding and Fabricating facility at 991 Maple St. for $3.8 million.

John Barsh Jr., western area manager for Comairco, said the 50,000-square-foot industrial building is much larger than the company’s current space at 3250 Union Road, which it leases from Iskalo Development.
