BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The love between Western New York and Canadian rock band Arkells has been evident for quite some time, and was made apparent once again on Saturday night.
Arkells chose Buffalo as the city where it wanted to host its record release weekend for “Between Us,” which came out Friday morning, just hours before the band’s first show at Town Ballroom. The weekend’s shows also served as the first of the tour, and both sold out within minutes of tickets going on sale.
Frontman Max Kerman dubbed Buffalo the band’s “home away from home” in a Wednesday interview with WIVB, and said Town Ballroom is the best club in the world. He reiterated those sentiments Saturday night, while expressing his love for the city…
