INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD homicide detectives continue their investigation into the murder of a 20-year-old man who suffered a fatal gunshot wound and was transported by two friends to Community East Hospital just before dawn Saturday.
Police reports link that fatal shooting to the 5200 block of East Gifford Avenue on the city’s southeast side, where neighbors told FOX59/CBS4 that they were aware of a red Buick parked at the mouth of the alley behind 626 South Spencer Avenue.
Around 6:08 a.m., that Buick arrived at the hospital, where police seized the vehicle.
Video from a neighbor’s security camera shows someone in the alley behind the house on Spencer inspecting the contents of a large satchel at 5:24 a.m., which would coincide with security video that recorded the Buick arriving at the alley with three passengers, one of them a woman, who proceeded to open the vehicle’s back door and trunk…
