Former employer establishes $100,000 scholarship to honor Brett Scrogham

INDIANAPOLIS — Tuesday marks exactly two months since 23-year-old Brett Scrogham was fatally shot in a downtown Indianapolis parking garage. He died days later.

Back in May, he headed downtown after getting off work at Kittle Property Group. One employee told FOX59/CBS4 Scrogham had stopped by her office and requested a mouse pad on his way out. It arrived days after his death.

Scrogham worked at Kittle for two weeks as a development analyst after graduating from IU Indianapolis. Although his time with the company was short, President and CEO Jeff Kittle is now working to keep Scrogham’s memory alive…
