Woman charged after baby kidnapped from Indiana found safe in Kentucky

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — An Indiana infant known as “Baby Adalyn” is safe after a woman befriended her mother as part of an alleged plot to abduct her child.

Just after 5:45 p.m. on July 30, the West Lafayette Police Department in Indiana said officers began investigating a reported child abduction.

According to police, 22-year-old Jasmine O’Sullivan of Georgia allegedly assumed another identity to gain Baby Adalyn’s mother’s trust in hopes of successfully kidnapping her 6-month-old.

“Investigators have no reason to believe the individual whose identity was used had any involvement in or prior knowledge of the crime,” the West Lafayette Police Department said…
