INDIANAPOLIS — Two people, including a Lawrence police officer, are injured after a shooting on the east side of Indianapolis on Friday night.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, around 10 p.m., officers were called to the 1900 block of Kildare Avenue on reports of a person shot.
Upon arrival, officers located two victims, including an off-duty LPD officer with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.
