A NEW law has banned the use of variable speed limits – as almost half-a-million dollars worth of signs are blacked out.
The new legislation came into effect more than four weeks ago, but many are unaware of the change.
Along Interstate 465, which circles Indianapolis, Indiana, there are 62 variable speed limit signs, bought by the state in 2024.
