Reimagined home: Century-old Main Street house becomes Greek’s Pizzeria, giving a historic property new purpose

A two-story house nestled between a Walgreens and a neighborhood on Main Street in Brownsburg has found a new life as a Greek’s Pizzeria.

Zionsville residents Mike Cole and his wife Julie bought the house, which is nearly 100 years old, last summer after being charmed by its character and potential as a commercial property. Cole envisioned adding a deck for outdoor seating and making use of the landscaped backyard.

“I’ve scouted in Brownsburg for about the last 12 years, trying to find the perfect location,” Cole said. “I try to find quirky places. I try to stay away from strip mall-type settings. I like the mom-and-pop-shop look.”…
