LEBANON, Ind. — A Lebanon man has been sentenced to more than six decades in prison after using a screwdriver to fatally stab a 64-year-old in the head.
Jacob Cram, 37, was sentenced on Thursday in Boone County court to 65 years in state prison. This comes after Cram pleaded guilty last month to the murder of Donald Bowers.
Bowers was killed in September 2025 inside his Lebanon home after being stabbed in the head with a screwdriver. Officers called to the scene were approached by two witnesses who immediately identified Cram as the suspect.
Police reportedly found Bowers on the ground with his head wrapped in duct tape and a screwdriver sticking out of his skull. Bowers was soon pronounced deceased and his death was ruled a homicide…
