Indiana Strengthens Digital Infrastructure with $10B Meta Data Center

Indiana’s position in the digital economy gained new momentum recently with the groundbreaking of Meta’s $10B data center campus in Lebanon, Boone County.

Spearheading the project is Meta Platforms, owner of popular social media apps including Facebook, Messenger and Instagram. The company’s new data center campus will be located in LEAP’s Innovation and Research District, where the focus is on attracting companies in sectors such as biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and advanced manufacturing.

Plans for the campus include 13 buildings, including 10 data center facilities, as well as space for logistics, networking and administrative support buildings. The total project is projected to cover 1,500 acres…
