3 injured in stabbing at Raleigh homeless encampment; suspect charged, police say

Three people were injured in a stabbing at a Raleigh homeless encampment Wednesday night, according to police.

Officers responded to the 1409 block of South Wilmington Street for a reported stabbing and found three people suffering from stab wounds.

Investigators identified one of the injured individuals as the suspect, 60-year-old Carl Moody. Police said Moody and the two other victims were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries…
