DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — Among many graduates this weekend in Durham is a legendary music producer with strong North Carolina roots.
Patrick Denard Douthit, known as music producer 9th Wonder, crossed the stage Saturday morning at North Carolina Central University.
“I walked on this campus 33 years ago,” 9th Wonder said on the college’s Instagram after the 9 a.m. commencement ceremony ended. “I left here to pursue a dream, and I never closed this one.”…
