Local high school gifted $2.7 million in honor of alumnus, largest in school history
CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Roger Bacon High School has received a $2.7 million estate gift, the largest single donation in the school’s history. The gift comes from the estate of alumnus Ronald “Ron” Dauwe, a 1953 graduate who spent decades working at Fifth Third Bancorp. Dauwe died in November 2025.
