PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A man is dead after a police shooting outside of a busy Midtown Phoenix food and shopping area late Wednesday morning. Officers were involved in a shooting near 7th Avenue and McDowell Road around 10 a.m. The shooting may have stemmed from an unrelated case out of Tolleson, Phoenix Police Sgt. Jen Zak said, but didn’t elaborate.
