A Hillsborough County judge handed down three life sentences to a man convicted of murdering a construction supervisor at a townhome development in 2023.

POLK COUNTY, Fla. (TCN) -- A 32-year-old man has been sentenced to multiple life terms following his conviction of three counts of murder. On July 17, 2020, three men — 27-year-old Brandon Rollins, 30-year-old Keven Springfield, and 23-year-old Damien Tillman — were found dead near a Florida lake. Before he died, Rollins called his father for help. All three victims died at the scene.

A 38-year-old Lakeland man was killed Monday morning in a head-on crash that left a semi-truck in flames in eastern Manatee County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Troopers said the crash, which happened around 9 a.m. on State Road 62, west of Saffold Road, also seriously injured the semi-truck driver, a 56-year-old Mulberry man, after both vehicles went off the road.
