NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The New Orleans Police Department soon could be issuing your next parking ticket. New Orleans Chief Administrative Officer Joe Giarrusso III said Wednesday (April 22) at the city’s Revenue Estimating Conference that the City Council will introduce an ordinance to move the city’s parking enforcement team to the NOPD. The ordinance is expected to be discussed at Thursday’s council meeting.
