‘Significant’ water bill increases coming to St. Louis to address aging infrastructure, officials say

ST. LOUIS — The City of St. Louis Water Division proposed a significant rate increase for residents over the next six years, including 18% increases in 2026 and 2027. In a new release on Monday, the water division said the rate increases would provide the department with the necessary funds to update the city's aging water system.
