Cal Fire crews stopped forward progress on a vegetation fire in Alameda County in between Tracy and Livermore on Sunday after it grew to about 19 acres. The fire broke out at about 12:20 p.m., roughly a mile west of Altamont Speedway, near Interstate Highway 580 and Grant Line Road, according to Cal Fire.
