EUGENE, Ore. — A pickup truck crashed into the Old Spaghetti Factory sign in Eugene on Thursday, Oct. 30 after swerving toward two pedestrians on a sidewalk, police said. At 10:47 a.m., an officer with the Eugene Police Department (EPD) was following a Dodge Ram pickup truck on West 5th Avenue and saw it go around an LTD bus before swerving to avoid a crash with a mailbox. EPD said the truck then drove toward a sidewalk where two people were walking.
