HIAWATHA, Iowa — A hands-on class focused on identifying and learning about wild edible plants is coming to Hiawatha later this month.
EarthMind and the Prairiewoods Franciscan Spirituality Center will host “Nourished by Nature: Foraging for Wild Edibles” on Saturday, June 27, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the spirituality center, located at 120 E. Boyson Road.
The outdoor class will give participants an opportunity to explore common wild and cultivated edible plants growing throughout the Prairiewoods property.
