DES MOINES, Iowa — The American Lung Association released its 27th annual “State of the Air” report on its findings when it comes to cleaning up the air in Iowa.
It’s a three-year study, that shows there are still struggles, especially in Eastern Iowa. Nearly half the kids in the county are breathing unhealthy levels of air pollution, over 112,000 here in the state.
The Des Moines Metro area was named the 80th most polluted in the country when it comes to ozone pollution, in Cedar Rapids and Iowa City, the numbers aren’t much better…
