Marion takes action to improve Uptown parking as continued growth increases demand

MARION, Iowa — Parking in Marion’s uptown district could soon get easier to navigate as new housing, projects and businesses draw more people to the area.

City leaders are considering several changes following a 2023 parking study, starting with improved signage and maps to help drivers find free public parking.
