Cedar Rapids man sentenced 20 years for armed Wendy’s robbery

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – A Linn County judge has sentenced a Cedar Rapids man to 20 years in prison for robbing a Wendy’s.

It happened at 7:28 a.m. on November 12, 2024, at the Wendy’s on 1st Avenue NE. Witnesses told police a suspect robbed the fast food restaurant armed with a handgun and then ran away.

Jamercion Bush was arrested the next morning and was charged with first-degree robbery, felon in possession of a firearm, among other charges…
