Iowa City is a trivia hub. From Monday to Sunday, trivia nights stretch across bars, breweries, and restaurants, each offering a slightly different version of the same promise: competition, a few drinks, and bragging rights that last exactly one week.
Depending on where you go, the trivia experience can feel completely different. At bars like Donnelly’s Pub, Quinton’s Bar and Deli, Micky’s Irish Pub, Joe’s Place, Coa Cantina, and even The Den at St. Burch, you’ll find a booklet-style trivia called Christopher’s Bar Exam, where different sections follow a theme and require answers in different forms.
But I don’t think Christopher’s Bar Exam is worth it…
