No driver found after Cedar Rapids Train vs. Car

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Cedar Rapids Watch Command says there was no driver on scene after a train hit a car in Cedar Rapids early Sunday morning.

Cedar Rapids first responders were called to the railroad tracks at C Street southwest near the Tait Cummins Sports Complex around 2:15 a.m. Sunday.

When they arrived, cops found a train had hit a Chevy Equinox in the tracks, but the driver of that vehicle was not around when police were on scene. There are no known injuries caused by the crash…
