The Main Squeeze, a multicultural five-piece from Los Angeles, that has built a following on the road, headlines an all-day lineup of blues and blues-inspired live music at North Liberty Blues & BBQ presented by Veridian Credit Union on July 11. Supporting The Main Squeeze are The Beaker Brothers, Jeni Grouws, The Finesse, Katie & the Honky Tonks, and Daniel Xavier & Co. Long-time favorite Kevin Burt will christen the festival’s new stage at the start of the day.
The Main Squeeze have played more than 1,000 shows together over the past nine years, and are lauded across North America and Europe’s live music circuit and have toured and played with the likes of George Clinton & The Parliament Funkadelic, String Cheese Incident, Umphrey’s McGee, Marcus King, Big Gigantic, and more.
The Main Squeeze will take brand-new Hy-Vee Amphitheater stage at 8:30 p.m., capping a lineup of exciting live, blues-inspired music programmed in partnership with The Englert Theatre as the festival celebrates its 17th year. Live music is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. Entry to the festival, in Centennial Park, 1565 St. Andrews Drive, North Liberty, including live music, is free.
