Juvenile, 19-year-old jailed after K-9 alerts to stolen firearm at Northwoods Mall

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — A juvenile and a 19-year-old were arrested Saturday for the possession and attempted sale of a stolen firearm, according to the North Charleston Police Department.

The juvenile was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm by a person under 18, and the 19-year-old, who was identified as ‘Shawn Nisar Barnett of Walterboro was charged with receiving stolen goods less than $1,000 and simple possession of marijuana.
