MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCSC) — The sound of “Taps” echoed across Charleston Harbor Monday as hundreds gathered aboard the USS Yorktown at Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum to honor fallen service members during “Taps Across America.”
The nationwide event invites musicians, veterans, students and community members across the country to perform the iconic 24-note bugle call simultaneously on Memorial Day.
