Ex-Hanahan councilman faces federal arraignment on charges involving crimes against minors

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A former Hanahan city leader is scheduled to appear in federal court Wednesday morning for arraignment on a wide-ranging indictment alleging crimes against children.

Kevin Phillip Hedgpeth, 48, is set to be arraigned at 10 a.m. in U.S. District Court in downtown Charleston, according to a court notice.
