SCDOT seeks public input on pedestrian and bicyclist improvement projects in Charleston

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The South Carolina Department of Transportation is seeking feedback on two planned projects that would upgrade walking and bicycling possibilities in two Charleston County towns.

Highway 165 sidewalk extension in Ravenel

The project would add to the current five-foot-wide sidewalk on the east side of Highway 165, lengthening it south from Charleston County St. Paul’s Service Center to Martin Street in the town of Ravenel. SCDOT is accepting input on the project until July 22. The website provides more information on the project. Share feedback in one of the following ways:
