MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WCSC) — The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted on domestic violence charges.
Fredrick Julius Reaves, 52, of St. Stephen, is wanted on charges of domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature.
Deputies responded Monday to a house in St. Stephen after they received a report of a physical domestic dispute. They later learned during the investigation that the victim was assaulted following an argument.
She reported being forcibly dragged into the house, struck in the face and strangled with her shirt to the point that she had difficulty breathing and experienced blurred vision, according to sheriff’s spokesperson Carli Carr.
