CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — Dangerous heat and humidity levels will return to the Lowcountry this week, and will likely persist into July. (In fact, it may get even hotter by July 4th!)
Temperatures will climb into the mid-to-upper 90s starting on Friday. High humidity levels will make it feel as if it’s around 105° – 110° each afternoon from Saturday through Monday. It will be quite uncomfortable from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day.
Even at night, there won’t be a ton of relief from the heat. Record-warm overnight low temperatures are possible Saturday morning, Sunday morning, and Monday morning.
