Tri-County schools offer free meals through July, leaving gap before classes begin

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) — As summer break stretches on, Tri-County school districts are working to make sure children don’t go hungry by offering free meals through the end of July.

However, the program ends about two weeks before school starts again, leaving some families to figure out how they’ll cover that gap.
