CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – The Charleston County School District Board of Trustees voted Monday night to place a referendum on the November ballot that would extend the district’s 1% Education Capital Improvements Sales and Use Tax through 2034 if approved by voters.
Trustees approved a resolution calling for a countywide referendum during the Nov. 3 general election.
